Seek Serve and Share Christ!

       

This will be our stewardship campaign this year. Seeking Him, Serving Him, Sharing Him! We will be kicking this off in October, stayed tuned.
Nancy and I thought it would be a great idea to keep everyone informed of what is happening with Holy Trinity now that Pastor Bob has retired and at the same time give everyone a summary of our cottage meetings.

Food Pantry/Clothing Store: Thanks to the hard work of Peggy and Jamie Johnson, Denise Hundsrucker and our hard working seniors we have a wonderful food pantry and the beginnings of a clothing store for anyone in need. (watch your bulletins for more information)

Cottage Meetings: First of all thank you to all of the hosts of the meetings… you did a wonderful job! Secondly thanks to everyone that attended, your ideas and input were appreciated. Also a word of thanks to Pastor Bob for suggesting this idea at a Long Range Planning Meeting. The information that was gathered was given to the call committee to review and use for the call process. Some of the wonderful ideas shared were:
Þ Younger pastor that can be more involved with the youth
Þ Build the youth program
Þ Unity in our Holy Trinity Family
Þ Increase outreach into the community
Þ More involvement of younger families
Þ Music – easier to sing hymns, uplifting music
Þ Family activities

It was truly enjoyable sitting in on the meetings and getting to know some of our members a little bit more. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask any of the executive committee which consists of: Jen Beck, Vice President; Janice Fischer, Secretary and myself.
